Vanilla Frosting
|
|
1 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 Tbsp water
2 cups powdered sugar
Add enough powdered sugar to make a thick icing
* Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar to softened butter.
Blend and then whip this well until creamy.
Add vanilla and water a teaspoon at a time alternately with sugar.
Whip with a large spoon as you add ingredients to keep it smooth.
Consistency of the frosting should be similar to peanut butter.
Spread on sweet rolls while they are hot
and frosting will clarify and set as it cools.
