Chocolate Brownies



2 squares baking chocolate
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup cake flour
1 cup chopped nuts
1/8 tsp salt

* Melt chocolate and butter over hot water.
This is a double-boiler set-up w/ a pan or bowl in a pan of water.
Separate eggs. Beat yolks until light.
Add sugar, salt, chocolate, and butter.
Mix thoroughly.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan.
Bake at 375' about 15 minutes. Cut in squares.
Cool. Remove from pan.
