Fried Catfish

1 1/2 lbs catfish nuggets
3/4 cup corn meal
1/4 cup flour

2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne (or less)

Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, garlic in a shallow dish.
Dredge nuggets in flour mixture.
Set aside on waxed paper.
Fry until golden brown. Drain on towels.
