Spaghetti Sauce



1/2 lb spaghetti noodles
1 lb ground beef
1 green pepper
1 large onion, diced
1 cloved minced garlic
1 can tomato paste
1 cup beef broth

1/2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 bay leaf
Salt & pepper to taste
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 small can mushrooms
Parmesan cheese

*Cook spaghetti noodles & keep separate.
*In large skillet:
Brown ground beef, chopping it up as it cooks.
Add the onion, garlic, and green pepper and saute til tender.
Add the tomato paste and thin out with the beef broth.
Sprinkle on the seasonings.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Add a little water to 2 Tbsp cornstarch.
Stir into sauce and simmer until thick and clear.
Add mushrooms. Heat through.

*Serve with noodles. Top with Parmesan cheese.
