Beer Bar B-Q Sauce
For ribs or chicken. Makes 6 pints.

2, 14-oz bottles ketchup
1, 12-oz bottle chili sauce
or picante sauce
1/3 cup prepared mustard
1 1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 cup lemon juice
1, 12-oz can of beer
1 1/2 cups thick steak sauce

1/4 cup Worcestershire
1 Tbsp dry mustard
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce
Dash tobasco
1 tsp pepper
4 Tbsp cornstarch

*Keep marinade bowl separate from condiment serving bowl.
*Combine dry ingredients except for cornstarch.
Stir in some ketchup to blend well.
Combine all liquid ingredients in a saucepan. Stir in dry mixture.
Bring to a boil.
Mix 4 Tbsp cornstarch with a little water & stir into boiling sauce.
When thickened remove from heat. Cool.
Store in jars in refrigerator.
*Marinate ribs or chicken pieces in the sauce.
Serve with extra sauce.
