John's Steak Sauce & Marinade



1/4 cup Italian dressing
1/4 cup Worcestershire
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup lemon juice
Tobasco to taste

1/2 tsp meat tenderizer
1/2 tsp lemon pepper
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp black pepper, freshly ground

*Set aside a portion of the sauce for serving at the table.

*Place steaks on a cookie sheet.
Prepare steaks by poking repeatedly with a fork
Turn steak over, repeat until the entire steak has been worked.
With basting brush, baste all steaks with sauce.
Turn over, and brush the other sides of steaks.
Cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in refrigerator 1-3 hours.
Baste steaks again before setting on the grill.
Baste steaks after turning on the grill.
Heat any leftover sauce that was used for basting.
